Export entries

You can export your entries completely, individually or filtered into another file format. Softpulse supports a number of different export formats that make it much easier to reuse your data.

Here's how you do it:

Go to the list view and filter your entries if necessary or select individual entries via the checkbox. Click on the Export button in the menu bar

Your entries will be exported to an XLS file (MS Excel) immediately.

If you want to export to another format, click the drop-down arrow to the right of the Export button.

Select the desired format in the menu. Your entries will be exported immediately and saved in your default download folder.

Supported file formats

Softpulse supports export to these formats:

Format Application
PDF (Portable Document Format, Adobe) particularly suitable if the data should not be able to be changed afterwards
XLSX (MS Excel document in Open XML format) for Excel versions before 2007 only openable with MS Compatibility Pack or MS Excel Viewer
XLS (MS Excel standard format) open for all Excel versions and compatible Office programs
DOCX (Word document in Open XML format) for Excel versions before 2007 only openable with MS Compatibility Pack or MS Excel Viewer
HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) suitable for further use on web pages, open for browsers and code editors
PNG (Portable Network Graphics) Raster graphics format with lossless data compression, to be opened for image programs of all kinds
CSV (Comma Separated Values) File format for simple structured data like tables and databases
MHT (MIME Encapsulation of Aggregate HTML Documents) Web page archive, contains a saved web page including all media and links, to be opened with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox
TXT unformatted ASCII text, can be opened and edited in any word processor and many other applications
RTF (Rich Text Format) Exchange format between word processing programs of different manufacturers on different operating systems, suitable for displaying formatted text in database fields
Note: Be sure to write your new number in the email to avoid confusion.
